We have been on the water continually this past month with all the great fishing and versatility that Henderson Harbor has become so famous for.
Trout
With the longer and colder winter we had the trout fishing has remained good “on top” of the deeper water areas. We have been fishing the top 1- 20 feet of water over 70 – 100 feet (depth) using both planner boards and riggers. We have been getting a mixed bag of both Lakers, browns, and occasional steelhead. Has some great outings with friends from PA and New Hampshire. Thank you to Lots a Limits lodger for the referrals.
Walleye
Have been in both the Chaumont and Black River Bay areas. Stick baits in both areas behind in-line planner boards have been producing the best. We have had some real impressive catches of truly trophy WALLEYE.
We still have dates available in June so please give us a call!
All efforts this weekend were for the Walleye that makes Henderson the port to fish out of for Trophy Class Walleye….This last weekend I took some great customers out both Saturday and Sunday. We were able to get a few to the boat. Thanks to Joe and his grandson Conner!
Extreme winter has made the water temperatures for this time of the year extremely cold. The brown trout fishing has remained good! Adam shows off a brown going 14 lbs.
And of course do not forget the ladies…..Jolie with a Walleye well over 10 lbs.
Give us a call. With all this cold water I think the shallow water browns and Walleyes could be with us for a few more months!
Great day and nice kings and trout.
Fish are off the lighthouse in 90 - 150 feet of water. Flasher and flys as well as spoons are working. Speed 2.2 - 2.5 knots.
I had the pleasure of taking out some new friends of mine from Philadelphia......Derrick, Lou, Rick., and Derrick (again). These guys got into some great Lake Trout fishing this past Sunday. They are all very accomplished fisherman and were on the rods all day. We were fishing off the light house in about 100 - 115 feet of water. A good time was had by all especially me. Thanks guys.

We had a great weekend smallmouth BASS fishing again. We took out a group of anglers from the Bensalem Fishing Club and were able to get their limit of these not only great fighting fish...but great eating.

We worked for the Lots A Limits lodge and and also with Capt. Gene Bolton. One boat went out for Lakers ... we stuck it out with the bass and had a lot of action on a great blue bird day. Both days fish were in 12 - 17 feet of water hitting anything from soft shell crabs to Rattletraps.
Thanks guys!!
